Blood Glucose Level after Administration of RH-787 in Rabbits

Abstract

|
We observed hypoglycemia after administration of toxic dose of RH-787 in rabbits. The hypoglycemia was peaked at 12 hrs. after administration of RH-787 and was proportional to the dose of administration. The cause of death was suspected by hypoglycemia, which might be due to destruction of the pancreatic beta cell.
